Biography:

Jennifer has over six years clinical experience in a wide range of areas including self harm & suicide ideation. She works with individuals from age 18 upwards & has extensive experience in the areas of depression & anxiety, relationship & sexual issues.

Jennifer is also a passionate advocate for alcohol awareness. She has helped clients to address issues around problem/binge drinking, identify triggers & practice long term moderation leading to improved quality of life. She also has a special interest in the therapeutic treatment of adult children of alcoholics.

Her training & theoretical background is humanistic & integrative psychotherapy combining Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Gestalt approaches to her work. With this in mind the therapeutic approach will be tailored to most effectively meet the client’s individual needs.

One of the cornerstones of Jennifer’s approach is strengthening the client’s relationship with self. She works to promote positive self image, increase self worth & self compassion to empower the individual.
